Iqbal Elham— Full-stack software engineer, Kabul

Booking platforms, business systems and the integrations that connect them.

Selected work, in detail

Three recent client builds, then the business software I have worked on inside product teams. Where something was a team effort, or started from a template or open-source code, I say so.

How I work with clients

03About

An engineer who starts from the business problem.

I studied computer science at Kateb University in Kabul and graduated with honours, then trained in Microverse’s full-time remote program, pair programming and reviewing code with developers in other countries.

Since then I have customized Odoo ERP modules at Netlinks and built the Java back ends of Muhaseb.af and Saraf.af at Parsa Technology. Today I develop Zoho applications for Pro Futuro Consulting and build web applications for international clients. I also founded Netrises, a small web development and design studio.

04Process

A clear path from first call to launch

  1. Understand

We start with how your business works today: the people, the steps and the data. I ask questions until the problem is specific enough to build for.

  2. Plan

I propose a scope, a stack and a sequence of milestones, so you know what arrives when and what each part depends on.

  3. Build

Work arrives in small, reviewable increments with working demos along the way, so you see progress instead of hearing about it.

  4. Launch and support

I handle deployment and handover, then stay available for fixes, improvements and the next round of features.

05Recommendations

What colleagues say

Peer recommendations from colleagues and teammates.

Have a project in mind? Let’s talk it through.

Tell me what you are building, what it needs to do and when you need it. I will reply with questions, an honest view of the options and the next steps.
